Captain Elizabeth Satterfield is a member of the United States Air Force, and of SG-13.

History

Lieutenant Satterfield was one of the first Cadets chosen for service at Stargate Command straight out of the Air Force Academy. Having studied anthropology and linguistics, she was selected as part of a training team that loosely echoed the composition of SG-1, alongside Kevin Elliot, Carl Grogan, and Jennifer Hailey, making her the "Daniel Jackson" of the group. The team was run through a simulated foothold situation at the SGC, before being folded into active duty as soon as team vacancies became available.  (SG1: "Proving Ground")

As a First Lieutenant, Satterfield was transferred to SG-13, replacing Cameron Balinsky after his reassignment to the newly-established SG-22. While Colonel David Dixon was initially resistant to his new "archaeology nerd", lamenting that he'd barely finished learning to tolerate the previous one, Satterfield quickly proved herself not just knowledgable in her specialist field but a proficient and capable all-rounder as well, having adapted her academic flair for being a "quick study" into learning from the example of those around her in the field. Dixon soon found himself comfortable relying on his new second-in-command, and discretely recommended Satterfield for promotion to Captain, though he insists that it was entirely General Hank Landry's idea.  (SG1: "Moebius, Part 1"; SGR: "The Arrow")

Alongside the rest of SG-13, Satterfield assisted in the evacuation of P3X-367 during the middle stages of the Ori Crusade.  (SGR: "The Arrow")
