History

During the early years of the Stargate Program, SG-1 encountered the bounty hunter Aris Boch during his pursuit of a fugitive Goa'uld. It soon emerged that "Kel'tar" was in fact a Tok'ra operative who had been embedded in the ranks of Sokar, and had fled after he was discovered. SG-1 was able to convince Aris Boch that the Tok'ra was worth saving, with Teal'c offering himself as a prisoner exchange. Boch was ultimately swayed, and Korra and SG-1 were allowed to escape, with Korra returning to the Tok'ra.  (SG1: "Deadman Switch")

Korra had only limited dealings with the Tau'ri from then on, assigned to a different cell of the Tok'ra from the one with which Selmak served, and thus outside the sphere many of Earth's interactions with the Tok'ra. Despite this, SG-1 had left a favourable impression on Korra, and he was consistantly willing to be swayed in a pro-Tau'ri direction whenever Selmak made a compelling enough case for supporting them in whatever way. When Anubis attacked the second Alpha Site, Korra was one of the Tok'ra opposed to withdrawing from their alliance with the Tau'ri and the Free Jaffa, and while most of the Tok'ra focused their efforts on building a new Tok'ra homeworld in the years after the fall of the System Lords, Korra positioned himself to work with the Tau'ri whenever an opportunity presented, in quiet protest of the High Council's lack of commitment to their allies.  (SGR: "The Arrow")

During the Ori Crusade, Korra offered his assistance to the Tau'ri fully: when Stargate Command contacted the Tok'ra for assistance in developing countermeasures against the Ori, Korra and Jalen were the ones who responded, under not entirely sanctioned circumstances. Korra saw his assistance as an act of honouring Selmak's memory, whereas Jalen saw it more as an inheritance of Selmak's dangerous defiant streak, and followed Korra to the Beta Site in part to keep him out of trouble.  (SGR: "The Arrow")
