Khordib is a member of the Nomads of Vis Uban, who resettled among the villagers on P3X-367.

History

Khordib was something of an apprentice to Shamda, the leader of the Nomads of Vis Uban, assisting him in his old age and theoretically learning from him. Together, it was Shamda and Khordib who stumbled across the amnesiac Daniel Jackson after his Ascension; they named him Arrom, "naked one". He accompanied Shamda when their people were relocated to P3X-367, so that Stargate Command could use Vis Uban to lure Anubis into a trap, planning to destroy his advanced Mothership. Like the rest of his people, he was later evacuated from P3X-367 after the arrival of a Prior of the Ori, temporarily relocated to the Beta Site on PB3-865. The escape was almost cut short when the Ori returned earlier than they had vowed to: Khordib holds Shamda personally responsible for this, believing that the old man antagonised the Prior with his ceaseless stories.
