Victor Woeste

Lieutenant Victor Woeste is a member of the United States Air Force, stationed at the Beta Site.
History
Woeste was previously a member of SG-12. He was deployed to P3X-403 to reinforce SG-11 during hostilities with the native Unas population while trying to establish Naquadah mining operations. He later participated in the retrieval of a Kull Warrior to be studied and interrogated by Stargate Command. (SG1: "Enemy Mine", "Evolution, Part 1")
Some time later, Woeste had transferred to the Beta Site as part of the facility's security detail. During the Ori Crusade, Woeste volunteered to assist in the evacuation of P3X-367. (SGR: "The Arrow")
Behind the Scenes
Lieutenant Woeste was portrayed by Dean Redman in 2 episodes of Stargate SG-1. He also portrayed an unnamed Staff Sergeant in 6 other episodes, and an unnamed Marine in "The Siege, Part 2".
Like Menard, who also appeared in "Enemy Mine", he is likely named after a member of the crew — specifically Peter F. Woeste, director of numerous episodes as well as The Ark of Truth and Continuum.
